Description
The BMW engine crash bar on the water-cooled R 1200 GS Adventure isn’t a proper crash bar until you fit the Touratech reinforcing strut! The additional supporting point is the key to providing maximum safety.
In terms of design and appearance, it perfectly matches the BMW engine crash bar on the GS since it is the same diameter and has an electropolished surface.
Made from sturdy 25 mm stainless steel tube, the reinforcing strut is very easy to fit thanks to a new fastening system.
The Touratech reinforcing strut provides lots of additional benefits at little cost or effort!
Developed for BMW R 1200 GS Adventure, 2014 – 2016 with BMW engine crash bar (standard) combined with Touratech fairing crash bar extension 045-5165.
Set for both sides!
Does not fit Special Edition “Adventure Triple Black”.
